“Los Santos Customs”: Every day a new madness
This story is part of a series from PC Gamer called Los Santos Customs Josh adds new mods to GTA 5 every day. His goal is to either make it more like the PC version of GTA 6 or completely destroy the game. In the past, he’s added things like October-themed zombies, storms, and shapeshifting. Gazelles and befriending various animals are also part of that trend.

Two mods, one mess
This time the experiment hinges on two mods.
First: Gang and Turf Mod. It adds a gang war system reminiscent of GTA: San Andreas. Different factions battle for control of Los Santos’ territories. From downtown in the heart of the city to the small rural towns in the north, wars can break out everywhere.
Second: Furry Gang for Gang and Turf Mod.This is the real main course. This mod unleashes gangs of armed men dressed as wolves on the city streets, using gunfire and bloodshed to seize territory. There are already a few other gangs in the base mod, but Josh doesn’t pay much attention to them. Some of them even wear suits, and they’re all crushed by the fursuited attackers.

When a reporter became a witness to war
Josh posed as an embedded reporter on the battlefield and followed an armed group of fursuit-clad men into battle. Dodging vehicles, the group quickly dispatched most of the enemies. Then came the real twist in the story.
suddenly one storm appeared and began to fling the fursuit-clad men into the air. In the chaos and confusion, Josh, almost “overstimulated,” in his own words, punched one of them. Then the storm swallowed them up as well. They were then teleported elsewhere. There, on a nearby hill, a lone fursuit-clad man in a purple suit stood motionless, as if plotting his next conquest. A man in an animal costume, standing silently on a hill, with everything in ruins behind him. Just thinking about it makes me laugh.

Author’s clarification: The joke is not on the fursuit, but on the situation
Josh made it clear from the outset that he wasn’t intending to mock the fursuit community. He believes society has largely become comfortable with it, and mocking fursuit culture is a thing of the past. The real comedy lies in the paradox of giving a man in a fursuit a gun and a military mission. In other words, the joke is entirely about the absurd scene, not the community.
The magic of GTA modding
This story explains why the GTA 5 modding community is still alive after so many years. Adding mods to Rockstar’s game can create anything, whether it’s serious roleplay or just plain fun. Things like gang wars, stormtroopers, and fursuit armies show that when the game’s structure is flexible, players’ imaginations know no bounds.

All of this is happening at a time when all eyes are on GTA 6. PC players are still wondering when GTA 6 will arrive. Until then, GTA 5 mods are doing a great job of keeping them happy.
If you play GTA 5 on PC and want to try something new, lighthearted, and crazy, the Gang and Turf Mod and its Furry Gang addon are worth a try. When installing mods, always download from a trusted source and back up your save file. Do not use mods in online mode, as this could result in an account ban.
