Fall has arrived in Forza Horizon 6, and with it comes a new Treasure Hunt. Finding treasure chests in this season of the Horizon Meets series earns you Season Points, which unlock the current seasonal cars. According to Sean Martin, Senior Guides Writer at PC Gamer, this week’s chest is a little hard to find, but we have the location.

Where is this week’s chest?

This time’s Treasure Hunt is in the Takashiro region. The chest is located in the eastern part of this region, at a rest area surrounded by pampas grass. This location is southeast of Soni Circuit.

PC Gamer’s headline also hints that to reach the chest, you’ll need to head towards a field of tall grass.

Direct route to get there

The article explains the way in three easy steps:

  1. As you pass the Soni Circuit entrance from west to east, turn right onto the winding road.
  2. Then take the road to the left, which leads to the pampas grass fields.
  3. Keep an eye out for a rest area on your left. It’s near the pond shown on the map.

If you’re having trouble figuring out the route on the map, there’s another way. Look for the brown spot with the pond in eastern Takashiro. That’s the mark of the tall grass, and the chest will be found nearby.

What will you get if you break the chest?

Breaking a chest by hitting it gives you the following rewards:

  • 100,000 credits
  • 5,000 XP
  • 3 Season Progression Points

Apart from this, it is also advised in the article that you must complete the new photo challenge if you want to earn more points.

Why are season points important?

Forza Horizon 6 features new challenges every week, and these points can be used to earn exclusive cars from the current season. So, skipping each week’s Treasure Hunt can be a loss. Three Season Progression Points may seem small, but over several weeks, they add up to a significant difference. The 100,000 credits can be used to purchase new cars or upgrades in the game.
