GTA 6’s release is just over a month away. The game is arriving on consoles on November 19th, and fans are now nearing its final stages. With that in mind, you’d think the leaks would have subsided. But a leaker named “Cyberleek” has taken a new tack, and it’s no longer just a video leak.

What exactly did Cyberleek say?
PC Gamer reports that Cyberleek has been continuously uploading footage of GTA 6 to the internet since August. Recently, they released a 25-minute video that has generated considerable discussion and controversy.
Now he’s set a new bet. He has his own memecoin, also named CYBERLEEK. He claims that as soon as the coin’s market cap reaches $30 million, he will upload a complete build of the game. According to him, it will include the entire story mode, from start to finish, including credits. Currently, the coin needs approximately $26 million more to reach this figure.
That means it is a simple calculation that if the coin goes up then the build will come out.

“One way” for Take-Two?
The leaker didn’t stop there. He also offered Take-Two Interactive a bet. According to him, the only way the company can avoid this entire matter is if it releases a physical disc of the game and publicly apologizes. He also stated that the company could take this step at any time, or it could simply rely on the hope that he was just making big statements.
To be honest, it’s highly unlikely that Take-Two would cave to such a demand. PC Gamer also suggests a similar view. This leaker’s previous posts have also attempted to cultivate a “Robin Hood” image in the name of consumer rights.

Does he really have the build?
That’s the biggest question. According to reports, at the end of one of the old leak videos, the word “LEEK” was etched onto a wall with bullets. This was taken as proof that he had a playable build of the game, or at least had once.
This means it’s difficult to dismiss the matter as completely baseless. However, simply making a claim doesn’t make it true, especially if it’s backed by a direct benefit of increasing the value of your crypto coin.

What does this mean for PC gamers?
Here’s an interesting point. GTA 6 is currently only coming to consoles. Some fans were hoping to play it on PC on launch day, but a statement from an Xbox official dashed those hopes. In such a situation, some might consider trying the leaked build.
But the truth is, an incomplete, unofficial build is probably the worst way for a player to experience GTA 6. No optimization, no stability, and on top of that, there’s the risk of piracy and malware. Who would want to see a game they’ve waited years for in such a mess?
Our opinion
As a gaming fan, the curiosity for spoilers is understandable. But such leaks are often motivated by self-interest, and the crypto coin wager makes this even clearer. It’s best not to spoil the story, not fall for any memecoin scams, and wait for November 19th, when Rockstar’s efforts will be revealed in their true form.
Whether Take-Two and Rockstar will respond further remains to be seen. We’ll let you know right here as soon as we get any new information.
