Fans have been a little anxious for the past few weeks since Microsoft didn’t make any major announcements regarding Xbox Game Pass in October. Now, there’s some relief. Three new games are coming to Game Pass on “Day One” between October 6th and 8th, meaning you’ll be able to play them on the day of release.
And the good news is that the list probably doesn’t end there. It’s believed that Microsoft may announce a few more titles on Tuesday.

Multiplayer will feature a new version of the Horde Siege mode and improved Versus PvP. The game is built on Unreal Engine 5, so there are high expectations for the visuals. This is the first mainline Gears release in seven years, so it’s a special occasion for longtime fans of the series.
2. Echo Weaver (October 8)
If you like Metroidvania games, this one’s for you. Echo Weaver is a knowledge-based Metroidvania where you’re the last remaining “Weaver” trapped in a time loop. Here, more than power-ups, it’s the knowledge you’ve learned that’s crucial to breaking the loop.
